Solutions competing in the Vertical Market Enterprise Solution category were required to prove innovative and give the customer a business advantage in their sector.
Commenting in the press release issued by IT Europa to announce the finalists, John Chapman, Editorial Director IT Europa stated: "The judges were impressed with the quality of all the entries and the obvious work that had gone into preparing them. There is tremendous enthusiasm from the software channel for such an awards event. We were inundated with enquiries, ranging from requests for advice on how to make a good entry to emails of support for what we were doing with the event. What is so exciting and uplifting is the real skill and ingenuity shown by the companies in many of the solutions. Our judges have a lot of experience in the IT industry and sitting on such judging panels, so to have such comments as 'what a superb solution' and 'transformational' from them was incredible to hear."
When evaluating the entries, the judges put particular emphasis on dedication and impact on customer’s business, competitive offering, customer benefits and extra gains, ongoing service and customer support.
Charisma ERP for Retail industry proved to be reliable, mature yet flexible solution, streamlining all key business processes from back office to stocks, documents, financial, sales and store sales, powerful enough to roll-out initially in 110 stores, and then keep the spectacular pace of 20 new fixed and mobile locations weekly.
The awards attracted entries from 18 countries; 36 companies from 14 European countries have made the finals. The IT Europa European Software Excellence Awards 2012, which recognise best practices in customer solutions by vendors across Europe, will celebrate its finalists and winners at a Gala Awards Dinner at the Grand Hyatt, Berlin on 1st March 2012.
