Kanal D, a television channel part of Dogan Media International Trust, has recently concluded a contract with TotalSoft in order to implement the complete human resources management solution, Charisma HCM. The contract, which is to be finalized at the end of April, was awarded to the Romanian software producer after a lengthy selection process involving several software providers; the experience in the field made the difference.
Charisma HCM will take over the management of all HR activities for the 300 employees of the TV channel, the management of the internal approval flow for expenditure requests, and will organize the way documents move within the company. Besides centralization and standardization of the HR activity within a single system, Kanal D aims to reduce acquisition costs at company level.
“We have chosen Charisma based on two judgments. We want to achieve a greater support of our team’s performance alongside with a cost reduction through streamlining the internal processes. TotalSoft’s expertise with software for human resource management, especially, and with implementations within mass-media companies, particularly, give us the certitude that together we will shape the most appropriate solution for our needs” stated Mrs. Gabriela Bălănescu, HR Director, Kanal D.
Charisma HCM benefits from a team consisting of 70 HR specialists and includes about 15 years of experience with human resource and pay management. TotalSoft continously invests in the solution and guides it towards strategic areas of investments in human capital development, such as talent management, eLearning, HR business intelligence or HR document management. In the media, Charisma HCM is used by companies like Intact Group (Antena 1, 2, 3 and 4), Focus Sat Romania, Carmina Trust (GSP TV), GMC (Radio ZU) or Adevarul Holding.
Kanal D is among first 3 televizions in Romania, ranked in the top three nationwide audience in 2012. The television channel entered the Romanian market in 2007 and reached an average annual market share of 6,3% (by day time) and 6,8% in prime-time in 2012.
