PayPoint Romania, the branch of the British company with the same name, announces the successful implementation of Charisma HR integrated information system for human resources and payroll management, created by TotalSoft. PayPoint Romania is market leader for the segment of payment receipt services, reporting at the end of 2009 incomes of 28.8 million Euro, while at group level they reached 232 million Euro.
The decision to purchase Charisma HR had the purpose to create a new human capital management system, which would cover more than the strictly administrative part, focusing on organizational development, personnel recruitment and selection, performance evaluation, training and career planning for the 130 employees.
"By analyzing market tools and by talking with the colleagues that use these tools, we have reached the conclusion that the TotalSoft system is a complex and stable tool that allowed us to design as many human resource activities as possible, including the organizational development area. Apart from the easy-to-configure reporting capacity, we appreciated the possibility for managing various online manager approval and notification flows, making the relevant processes and information available for management and employees, with direct access. Besides the usual benefits, Charisma has also offered us two main advantages: a simple and efficient tool for developing human capital and removing a significant cost involved by the outsourcing of personnel and payroll management services" said Mrs. Andreea Tanase, HR Manager, PayPoint Romania.
One of the main challenges of the project was to create the web module for evaluating employee performance according to the PayPoint approach, perfectly integrated in the Charisma HR system, offering employees the possibility to establish their own objectives, taking the responsibility to fulfill them. Based on these requirements, TotalSoft has developed a module that includes a single interface, alternatively accessed by employee and manager, while the employee has the freedom to set his/her objective alone, without having to follow within certain presets that would not suit him/her.
Using Charisma HR at the level of the entire organization has offered managers from PayPoint Romania access to all the information regarding its own employees: holidays, salary level, date of the last salary change, training history, own team timesheet; everything is secured and has very well defined access on each hierarchical level.
