IUL 2020
Because we care about education and believe in high-quality education for each child, on the occasion of the 1st of June (National Day of Children), TotalSoft has focused on three struggling communities, planning on offering their well-performing pupils a chance to broaden their horizons. We have been rethinking our actions in the context of this celebratory day and we turned our attention to the noble pursuit of turning the future of various communities around, step by step.
We have focused our attention on three communities whose members are experiencing financial struggles, planning on gifting well-performing pupils the laptops and tablets that were necessary for attending remote school classes.
Who have we helped?
1. The children community of AndrăseștiThe first community that we had in sight was the Andrăsești village in Slobozia, where we met children with a constant school attendance record and good results. On the other hand, these children had gone through a difficult childhood as a result of financial struggles, but especially as they had grown up in one-parent families or families with numerous siblings, or had been even abandoned by their parents.
2. The children community of GiubegaSimilar struggles were identified in the second community that we had in sight, in Giubega village of Dolj county. Despite their struggles, the children and teenagers that we met there have proven to be as ambitious and willing to make efforts to study and obtain very good results in school.
3. The children community of DGASPC District no. 3 (Bucharest)The third group of beneficiaries had slightly different circumstances, as the group consisted of children and teenagers that were in the public social services’ care. In previous years, they had been showing interest in their education as well, holding good attending records and performances.
This was only a step that TotalSoft has made in regard to a long-term project. Keep an eye on our website to find out more details.
