TotalSoft, the regional software provider and member of Global Finance, has been judged a finalist by IT Europa jury in two categories – Vertical Market Soluition with the medical software implemented at MedLife, and Communications/Mobility Solution with the mobile Field Force Automation developed for Sodexo.
The European Software Excellence Awards are the most prestigious event in the European software industry calendar. This competition acknowledges the crucial role that solution providers and ISVs play in solving real-world problems and sustaining the growth of the customers’ business.
Commenting in the press release issued by IT Europa to announce the finalists, Alan Norman, Managing Director of IT Europa, stated: “The quality of entries was extremely high and demonstrated the depth of talent in European IT and Telecoms channels. Finalists have come from right across Europe with Central and Eastern European countries well represented.”
“The judges were impressed with the quality of all the entries and the obvious work that had gone into preparing them,” stated John Chapman, Editorial Director at IT Europa.“There has been tremendous enthusiasm from the channel for this event and we received nearly twice as many entries this year despite the difficult trading period across Europe. The quality of entries was also much higher, with some superb entries particularly in the new categories of Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Communications and Mobility.”
TotalSoft submitted Charisma Medical Suite implemented at MedLife in the Vertical Market Solution category, as the proprietary software tailored to meet the best practice level in the medical sector, supporting the activities of the private medical market leader in Romania.
In the Mobility Solution category, TotalSoft has entered the mobile Field Force Automation custom-made in 3 days time for Android tablets, helping Sodexo to better mobilize their field workforce.
Solutions competing in the European Software Excellence Awards are required to prove innovative and give the customer a business advantage in their industry.
When evaluating the entries, the judges put particular emphasis on dedication and impact on customer’s business, competitive offering, customer benefits and extra gains, ongoing service and customer support.
TotalSoft was a finalist at the previous edition of the awards, with its Charisma ERP for Retail industry.
The awards attracted entries from 24 countries; 64 companies from 15 European countries have made the finals. The IT Europa European Software Excellence Awards 2013 will celebrate its finalists and winners at a Gala Dinner on 13th March 2013 at the Lancaster London Hotel.
