TotalSoft, the Romanian software provider and member of Global Finance, held on November 16-17, one of the major business events in Romania, namely Charisma Days. At its seventh edition, the event revolutionized this kind of events in Romania by an unprecedented participation of representatives of Romanian and international business environment. The two-day meeting, held at Radisson SAS Hotel in Bucharest, gathered over 1000 people representing 500 companies from 11 verticals and TotalSoft customers in Romania, Austria, Greece, Bulgaria and Qatar.
Developed around the "between art and innovation" concept, the event suggested a parallel between the latest technology and the art of cultivating beauty through innovative and attractive software design. The focus was on increasing usability, user friendly interfaces, simplification of business information search in very large databases and the future interaction with the technology through mobile devices.
Among the business partners invited to share their work experience with TotalSoft, many representatives of the international business environment could be distinguished, namely (Deutsche Leasing AG – Mr. Otto Schmitz, CIO or Lumesse – Mr. Barrie Crow, Managing Director Austria/CEE), as well as representatives of the main Romanian companies such as (Henkel Romania - Liviu Sfrija, General Manager, URSUS Breweries - Mihaela Matei Reward, Recognition & Reporting Manager or Microsoft Romania – Mr. Ronald Binkofski, General Manager).
On this occasion, there were presented a series of major projects undertaken by the company during the whole year, but also a large variety of solutions provided by TotalSoft to cover specific needs of customers. Such projects were UniCredit Tiriac Bank (Charisma handles all back-office activities and interfaces in real time with the bank's core banking system), Henkel Romania (TotalSoft ensured specific developments that allow data collection using PDAs), UPC (TotalSoft developed a management system for the field technicians, which synchronizes with the company’s operational applications) etc.
The six technical workshops, held in parallel, showed real business scenarios and solutions dedicated to the retail and distribution, financial services, medical, construction and manufacturing, as well as human resources and payroll activity fields. Among the proposed solutions to support and simplify the work of these companies the following were included: Charisma SFA on Android tablets, Charisma Analyzer powered by Tableau Software, Cell Monitor and EMR on iPad, debt collection suite (Collection, Repossession, Legal, Remarketing), Fleet Management with a GPS tracking component, Facility Management or Office Automation for Professional Services.
The event ended with a festive atmosphere by rewarding the most complex projects undertaken in 2011, and by offering the guests an illusion show, ruffles and Smiley’s outstanding performance.
